REDLANDS, Calif. — Redlands is recruiting residents interested in serving on its Traffic and Parking Commission, a volunteer body involved in local traffic and parking issues.
Application deadline November 5
The city’s October 15, 2026 announcement says the deadline for filing applications is November 5. Commission members are appointed by the City Council. Responsibilities described by Redlands include traffic-related public education, traffic reports and matters brought before the commission.
For residents concerned about congestion, parking restrictions, pedestrian safety and changing neighborhood road use, participating in a public advisory body can provide another way to engage with city government.
How to apply
Interested residents should follow the application instructions on the official city notice and verify eligibility and appointment requirements. Submitting a form does not guarantee appointment; commission positions are filled through the city process.
Residents who do not seek appointment can still follow posted meetings, agendas and public-comment opportunities. A commission’s discussions do not automatically constitute final City Council approval of a policy.
