REDLANDS — November 4, 2026. The Redlands Unified School District governing board contest for Trustee Area 2 shows Ryan Schavrien ahead with 2,377 votes (55.29%), followed by Maria Montes with 1,386 (32.24%) and Tiara Richardson with 528 (12.28%). The numbers come from San Bernardino County’s final unofficial election-night summary.

One seat in one trustee area

The Area 2 contest is a single-seat election. Its totals should not be combined with other Redlands Unified trustee areas or with the separate Redlands City Council elections. Based on the current count, Schavrien leads Montes by 991 votes.

County election officials list 18 of 18 precincts reporting and 4,873 ballots cast from 16,403 registered voters in this contest. Some voters do not mark every race on their ballots, and additional ballots received within legal deadlines can still be counted.

Where to follow the canvass

The results are not certified, even though the county’s election-night precinct reporting is complete. San Bernardino County has scheduled another update by 6 p.m. Thursday, November 5.
